A hanging valley under Handies Peak. In July the floor goes blue and gold with columbine and paintbrush.
Field note
The basin sits above the Cinnamon Pass road. Wildflowers take the whole floor for a few weeks. Handies is the fourteener at the back wall. Most people never leave the parking pullout.
