An isolated laccolith — snowed peaks over red benches and gold sage, south of the Waterpocket Fold.
Field note
The Henrys stand off the plateau like a small range that forgot the others. Sage takes the benches. This is Mount Ellen, not Capitol Reef and not the fold.
