The benches drop in steps. Distant monuments sit in haze. This is Muley Point, not the Goosenecks overlook on the river loops.

Muley Point is a Cedar Mesa rim looking across stepped San Juan benches toward the southern monuments. Higher and drier than the Goosenecks overlook, it reads the same river country from the mesa edge rather than from the live loops. The Moki Dugway drops off this mesa as its own plate.
