A deep, sheer canyon of Navajo sandstone cut by the Virgin River. Hanging gardens, hanging valleys, and a river-walk slot called the Narrows.
The Narrows is the river itself. Walls rise a thousand feet while the canyon pinches to a few body-widths. Cottonwoods and hanging ferns live on seeps in the stone.
