The Cranberry Glades Botanical Area sits near 3,400 feet in the Monongahela National Forest, in Pocahontas County. A boardwalk crosses open bog and spruce. Cranberry Mountain Nature Center is the usual start. Dolly Sods and Blackwater Falls keep their own Allegheny plates. This plate is the glades, not Spruce Knob and not the Cass scenic railroad.
