The largest wilderness study area in Wyoming: badland spires, the Skull Creek Rim, and wild horses.
Field note
The BLM manages Adobe Town Wilderness Study Area in the Washakie Basin and calls it the largest wilderness study area in Wyoming. Skull Creek Rim holds eroded spires and colored beds. Wild horses use the basin. Approaches are rough high-clearance tracks, and the WSA itself is roadless. This is not the painted desert of Arizona.
