Field note
Blue Glacier is the largest glacier on Mount Olympus in Olympic National Park, which the National Park Service administers. It is reached by the Hoh River trail and then a climber's path onto the moraine — a long backcountry day, not a drive-up face. The Olympic plate is the Hoh rain forest. This plate is the ice above it.
