Field note
Umpqua Hot Springs is a U.S. Forest Service site in Umpqua National Forest. Travertine terraces hold the pools on a bluff above the North Umpqua River. A short, steep trail climbs from the forest road. This is not Mickey Hot Springs out on the Alvord.
