Field note
The National Park Service administers Hot Springs National Park. About forty-seven thermal springs rise on Hot Springs Mountain at roughly 143°F, and tufa and the historic Bathhouse Row sit at their outlets. This is Arkansas, not the Wyoming state park at Thermopolis. Ozark National Forest is the hardwood plate to the north.
