St. Joseph Peninsula State Park occupies the long spit west of Port St. Joe, in Gulf County. Tall dunes face the open Gulf; St. Joseph Bay lies inside. The wilderness tip is closed to vehicles. Everglades and Kissimmee Prairie keep their own Florida plates. This plate is the peninsula, not Panama City beachfront and not Destin.
