Field note
Big Spring rises in Ozark National Scenic Riverways, which the National Park Service administers. It is one of the largest springs in the United States, dolomite karst on the Current River near Van Buren. This is not Big Spring in Texas. The Ozark National Forest plate is the Arkansas woods, not this Missouri boil.
